Visualising Anomaly Data Within a Digital Twin

Integration of ONE Anomaly management data with ESERV AS-TEG visual solution, for Centrica Energy Storage

October 2023

Centrica Energy Storage (CES+) identifies potential integration of their Anomaly data, which is held within IQ Integrity’s ONE Asset Integrity system with their visualisation tool AS-TEG provided by ESERV, to provide an integrated Digital Twin solution.

March 2024

Visibility of the full range of defects created within ONE Anomaly management system is available to be assigned and visualised within AS-TEG.

Twelve Months Later

CES+ is raising defects within ONE and annotating them on the Visual Twin within AS-TEG. This is providing heat-map visual data on Plot Plans which in turn can be viewed in a 360-degree camera view on the Asset.

The integration of the Digital Twin has successfully given Centrica Energy Storage a holistic, virtual view of their assets, with full transparency and improved risk mitigation.

By centralising our data and streamlining asset management processes, ONE has helped CES+ achieve a more proactive, cost-effective approach to maintaining the integrity of our Assets.

Integrating ONE with Other Digital Twin Solutions

Digital Twin is commonly interpreted as being able to visualise the Asset with pictures or video. We like to take a more holistic approach as we’ve been recording information about Assets, in a digital format since 2010.

If it’s accessible on a computer, it’s digital. Numbers, words, images, inspection reports. These all make up the digital data which help Asset Managers create a ‘Digital Twin’.

ONE is key to the Digital Twin dataset, by providing key Asset data, from the Component / Asset register through to Defect Management. By working with partner companies, such as ESERV, allows IQ Integrity to deliver an improved solution for the benefit of our clients.
